Equest Horse Wormer (Moxidectin) Treats 700kg
Equest Oral Gel Wormer contains moxidectin. Each syringe contains enough gel to treat a horse weighing 700 kg. It is effective against small forces, including larvae encapsulated in the intestinal wall; large forts; ascarids (roundworm); pulmonary worm; abdominal bones, pinworms; intestinal worms; adult hairworms; largemouth worms and neck Wormer. The recommended dose interval for small strong forces is 13 weeks. The gel is formulated to one day become a liquid in the horse’s mouth, making it difficult to wash out. Resistance can occur when excessive use of wormers, especially when repeated use of the same class of anthelmintics. Fecal numbers are an important part of an effective worming program. Call us on our support line or consult your vet if you want to discuss your worming program.
Equest Oral Gel Wormer contains moxidectin and is one of the few July who is authorized to control the important encapsulated larval stages of small red worms. After dose administration (13 weeks) it has a long-term anti-worm activity, helping to reduce pasture contamination. Equest is also less toxic to natural beetles and other insects that help decompose manure in the meadow compared to ivermectin-based products. This means that pastures tend to stay cleaner and healthier if the manure is not harvested from the field.
Equest Oral Gel Wormer is a moxidectin horse worm that is used to treat and control adult and larval stages of internal parasites in horses and ponies. This is quite effective against benzimidazole-resistant cyathostoma strains. This is very economical because only 4 individual doses are needed to control the bone and roundworm. Equest has a remarkably long duration of action for horses for 13 weeks. It remains in the horse system for a further 2 weeks after treatment, reducing the risk of re-infection and contamination of the horse’s pasture. This is safe to use in foals older than 4 months, mares, stallions, ponies, and horses. Mares can be treated at any stage of pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Equest Oral Gel contains Moxidectin as an active substance, which is a strong anthelmintic. The active substance works effectively to treat and control multiple shoes and parasites. This ingredient remains in the horse system for about two weeks, preventing re-infection and pasture infection. It is an excellent and most recommended method of deworming horses.
